What accreditation proves — and what it does not
Yes: cleared by the Ministry of Finance
An accredited service provider has been assessed by the Ministry of Finance against its technical, security and interoperability requirements, and may exchange invoices in PINT AE format on the UAE network. Ministerial Decision No. 64 of 2025 makes appointing one compulsory: without an accredited provider your invoice does not reach your customer or the tax authority, however correct the file is.
No: a verdict on invoicing software
Accreditation says nothing about price, features, or whether something is invoicing software at all. Most of this list is middleware, ERP platforms and accountancy firms — they connect the system you already use. Appointing a provider and choosing an invoicing package are two separate decisions, and for many businesses the provider comes through their accountant or their existing software vendor.
Accredited or pre-approved?
Accredited
53 of 60. Fully accredited: the provider has passed the Ministry of Finance assessment and may operate on the network today.
Pre-approved
7 of 60. Pre-approved: the application has cleared an initial review and full accreditation is still in progress.
The official list on one side, our comparison on the other
The table above mirrors the register exactly as the Ministry of Finance publishes it — we neither rank nor assess providers. What we do compare, in detail and with a source for every value, is invoicing software: what it costs, what it does, and whether it produces PINT AE and reaches an accredited provider. Today most packages do not, and we say so per package.
Invoicing packages we compare in detail for the UAE (alphabetical):
Appointed by 31 March 2027: what then?
Businesses at AED 50 million or more must have appointed a provider by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027. Everyone below that has until 31 March 2027 to appoint one, with the mandate itself starting 1 July 2027. Being late costs AED 5,000 a month. Appointing the provider is the first step; the second is checking whether the software you invoice with can hand it a PINT AE file at all.
